Join us for a trip to Scenic Cape Cod, enjoy all the sights sounds of the quaint Sea port villages, You will soon discover everything about Cape Cod’s rich history, 3,000 years in the making. From the Ice Age which formed the Cape Cod and Islands and learn about the Native Indians, the arrival of the Pilgrims / Puritans and Famous Ship Captains and the fishing & whaling fleet along with notorious Pirates scuttling ships for profit and the interesting history of the beach combers. Cranberries bogs and miles of sandy beaches from the bay side to the ocean side you will experience all the wonderful vista’s with light houses and the architecture of the Cape Cod cottages.
This tour leaves Newport at 8 am. returns to Newport 6pm depending on traffic and weather.
Bring snacks and drinks in sealable containers when possible, you can purchase a lunch at several locations along the tour. We recommend local restaurants, lobster, fish, clams are a local favorite in Cape Cod along with clam chowder and there is always a children’s menu or a garden salad, pizza or a local deli fresh sandwiches and lobster salad Sandwich is a must when available. Having lunch by the sea shore is always great fun.
